Six jobs in one day, and headshots signed off inside the hour
Yes, we can fit several jobs into one day in the Far North when they're close together. On 15 July we did six back to back, from an agent video at 8am to product photos in the afternoon.
Wednesday 15 July
This was the biggest single day we've had. In order:
- A video with Shareef Williams from Haze at 8am
- Photos at Te Moho Road
- Headshots for the Haze team at 11
- Video for Kai Ora Honey at midday
- A new listing on Gill Road in Kaitaia at 1:30. It was the first job with this agent
- Product photos for Murray's Balm to finish
The Gill Road folder was shared that evening. The agent asked for virtual furniture in the empty rooms and some cables tidied out of the entrance, so that went on the list for later in the week.
Headshots in an hour
On Thursday I sent the Haze headshots through. The office wanted every frame, not just my picks, so the team could choose for themselves. I added the full folder about half an hour later and got a thumbs up back inside the hour. No changes.
One thing I learned: label the folder. If you send raw frames, say "edited set to follow" right on it. Otherwise people think the raw ones are the finished ones.
7 Whitney Lane
We shot Whitney Lane on the Friday afternoon and I had the photos edited by the Saturday, the day after the shoot. They went to the agent on Tuesday. They were happy with them that morning. It's a great spot up on the Karikari Peninsula, and the deck pretty much sells itself.
Paris
The Manuka Charitable Trust videos had their soft launch in Paris this week. It's a long way from Ahipara and pretty cool to see something we filmed in the Far North playing over there.

Can you shoot agent headshots and a listing on the same day?
Yes. On 15 July we shot Haze Real Estate headshots at 11am and a listing on Gill Road in Kaitaia at 1:30pm, with other jobs either side.
Do you send every headshot frame or just the best ones?
Whatever suits the office. Haze asked to see every frame so the team could pick their own, so we sent the edited picks and the full set the same afternoon.
