How fast can you get listing photos back in the Far North?
Often the same day. This week a Waiharara listing went from first contact at 10:29am to photos approved by the agent at 5:18pm. Normal turnaround for real estate is within 24 hours.
Six hours, twenty-one minutes
Thursday at Kaimaumau Road, Waiharara, for Haze:
- 10:29am, the job came in
- 10:57am, booked
- 1:30pm, shot
- 4:19pm, photos edited, under three hours after I started shooting
- 4:27pm, shared with the agent
- 5:18pm, approved
That's about as fast as real estate gets. It helps that Waiharara is only about an hour from home.
A whole office in one afternoon
On Wednesday we set up two backdrops in the Haze Kaitaia office for come-and-go headshots. Sixteen agents came through between 12:30 and 3:30. The photos went out to both offices by 4:16pm.
We lined every headshot up the same way, eyes at the same height and heads the same size, so the team page looks tidy when they're side by side. AI only touched the backgrounds. Faces are left alone, every time.
Awards night
Haze had their awards night in Whangārei on the Saturday before. We shot it and sent 1,299 edited photos to the whole Kaitaia and Mangonui team on Monday afternoon. That one was on us. They looked after us well on the night.
Windy one at Fryer Road
Fryer Road in Kaitaia is a 4 hectare rural block. The gusts were up near 39 km/h on the day, and we flew it anyway. Rural blocks need the drone. Without it the listing just shows a fence line.
